Bond Performed at Canada’s Wonderland Festival of Music

On the morning of May 19, the Bond Band went to Canada’s Wonderland and performed beautifully for the Festival of Music.

The Festival of Music at Canada's Wonderland is an event to showcase school bands and choirs in Toronto. It is open to all grade levels and groups. The performance is not for a competition, and a professional musician adjudicates all the performances.

According to Michael Allen, our Music Teacher and the Band’s Conductor at Bond, the Band did an excellent job especially with the new members this year. The three songs they played included “Fires of Mazama”, “It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing”, and “Jump, jive an' wail”.
